Friedrich Wilhelm III (* 3 August 1770 in Potsdam; Ä 7 June 1840 in Berlin) belonged to the noble house of Hohenzollern, was King of Prussia from 1797 and, as Margrave of Brandenburg, also Elector and Archemperor of the Holy Roman Empire until its dissolution in 1806.
