Regiment Garde du Corps Regiment of the Garde du Corps. Regimental commander: Emperor and King William II Garrison: Potsdam. The Regiment of the Gardes du Corps was a cuirassier regiment in the Guard Cavalry of the Prussian Army. It was raised in 1740 by Frederick II of Prussia as the 13th Cuirassier Regiment (later numbered K 13).
