After a brief introduction to the subject and explanations of the criteria for awarding the German flight badge, the reader is introduced to the various versions and variants of the Army Aviation Badge and the Airship Badge, arranged according to manufacturer, in a large number of good quality photographs. In most cases front and back are shown, in addition there are contemporary portrait photos, detail photos of special features and marks. A very good work that leaves out practically no detail concerning the flying badge of the Imperial German Army.
