The Ju 290 was used by the Luftwaffe as a long-range transport and maritime reconnaissance aircraft. During the Battle of the Atlantic it was used as a reconnaissance aircraft. Revell has the only current model of the Ju 290 on offer, which has not been produced since 2009.
