2023, 25 NATO member states gathered over Europe and carried out a joint exercise. The exercise initiated by the German Armed Forces was "the largest air operation exercise since NATO was founded". The manoeuvre, which took place in June 2023, involved 10,000 soldiers with a total of around 250 aircraft and 23 different types of aircraft. Two of the aircraft, the A400M and the Tornado, are now available as a model kit for enthusiastic model fans.
