15 figures: The Rote Frontkämpferbund (RFB) - also known as the Rotfrontkämpferbund - was the paramilitary protection force of the KPD in the Weimar Republic. It was founded in Thuringia in mid-July 1924. On 3 May 1929, the RFB was banned by the Prussian Minister of the Interior. Three different rows of demonstrating Red Front fighters. With flag bearer and sign "Against the RFB ban". Extremely rare figures. (Also to be used as Reichsbanner-SPD- etc.) Casts from the original moulds by Offizin Paul Schulze/Berlin. (1927-1950) Draughtsman: probably Sandow, engraver: Sandow and others, probably also Frank. Mostly so-called "row figures" were produced in simple toy quality. Sizes 28 - 30 mm.
