Cleopatra VII ( 69 BC to 30 BC) ruled as the last queen of the Egyptian Ptolemaic Empire. She was the last female pharaoh from 51 B.C. to 30 B.C. Of the queens of the same name, Cleopatra VII is the best known. She won the two most powerful Romans of her time, first Gaius Iulius Caesar and, after his assassination, Marcus Antonius, as lovers and, with their help, was able to significantly increase the power of the Ptolemaic Empire for some time. Cleopatra probably died on 10 August 30 BC from a self-inflicted snakebite. She locked herself in with her trusted maid and committed suicide with her. Octavian found her dead in royal robes lying on a golden bed next to the dying servant. Small complete scene.
