Franz Joseph I (* 18 August 1830 at Schönbrunn Palace, in Vienna since 1892; 21 November 1916 ibid), in full Franz Joseph Karl, of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine, was Emperor of Austria, Apostolic King of Hungary and King of Bohemia from 2 December 1848 until his death.
