Knights dismounted at Sempach

In defensive position. Defending foot soldiers or cavalry. The battle of Sempach in the canton of Lucerne took place on 9 July 1386. In the history of Switzerland, it is considered the climax of the conflict between the Habsburgs and the Confederates during the Swiss Habsburg Wars. (Source: Wikipedia).
