The set contains all moulds for self-casting of chess pieces. 6 different pieces in 3 moulds (pawn, rook, bishop, knight, king and queen), matching: 402/711, "Prince Lionheart".
Richard the Lionheart (1157-1199) and Saladin (1138-1193). The Crusades began in 1095 with a call from Pope Urban II to drive the Muslims out of the Holy Land. During the long period and countless battles within the four (main) crusades, Lionheart and Saladin were the most famous army leaders (Third Crusade). They can now once again compete against each other on the chessboard.
