Singleton, Andy Modelling Battle of Britain Fighter Aircaft

Andy Singleton, in collaboration with the Kent Battle of Britain Museum, has produced an excellent guide to building and painting models of the legendary fighter planes that took part in this decisive battle. The step-by-step instructions are aimed at beginners and advanced model builders and help the reader build a Supermarine Spitfire, a Bolton-Paul Defiant, a Messerschmitt Bf109 and a Messerschmitt Bf110. Each build corresponds to either an aircraft type or a colour scheme used during the Battle of Britain and the Blitzkrieg phase.
