The Ship Craft series provides detailed information on the construction and modification of model kits of famous warships. Each book is richly illustrated and takes the modeller through a brief history of each class, highlighting the differences between sister ships and the changes in their appearance over the course of their careers. Included are colour schemes and camouflages with colour profiles and highly detailed line drawings and scale plans. The modelling section looks at the strengths and weaknesses of the available kits, lists commercial accessory sets for extra detailed ship design and gives advice on modifying and improving the basic kit. This is followed by an extensive photographic overview of selected high-quality models in various scales, and the book concludes with a section on literature references - books, monographs, large plans and relevant websites. This volume covers the five ships of the highly successful "Queen Elizabeth" class, a fast battleship design that set the standard for the last generation of dreadnoughts. Since its first publication in 2010, many new kits have been released for this popular class, which are covered in detail in this revised edition, along with the relevant accessories.
