Volume 2 of the "Camera On" series. During the Second World War, the German armed forces used half-track vehicles more than any other army. These were produced in a wide variety of models and used for a multitude of tasks. One of these half-track vehicles was the Sonderkraftfahrzeug 7, mittlerer Zugkraftwagen 8 Tonnen. This illustrated book presents this half-track vehicle using a large number of mostly unknown contemporary b/w photos from private photo collections. The photos show the Sd.Kfz. 7, mittlerer Zugkraftwagen 8t, in action on all fronts and in various task-specific versions, including as a self-propelled gun carriage with anti-aircraft gun, artillery tractor and as a pioneer vehicle.
