The Gloster Grebe and Gloster Gamecock fighter biplanes were in service with the Royal Air Force (RAF) in the 1920s. They were among the last of the RAF's wire-braced wooden fighters. This volume documents the design, development and history of these two aircraft types, including the numerous experimental modifications and the export versions that were in Finnish and Japanese service. Illustrated with contemporary bw photos, colour photos of an accurately reconstructed replica, colour profiles, bw drawings from contemporary manuals and sketches.
