Award-winning model figures by internationally renowned modellers, step-by-step explanations of their creation, assembly and painting techniques, and the story behind each tiny work of art. This edition of the "Scale Model Handbook" is the fourth volume in a multi-part series presenting articles on figure painting that have already appeared in one of the previous editions. In contrast to the old publications, these are now arranged thematically. Thus, this fourth issue of the special edition "Themes" shows figures and vignettes that have World War 1 as their theme. A total of 14 figures, including several busts, are presented here to the reader with their individual process of creation.
The figures presented: British infantryman, Somme 1916. Painting a large scale bust with acrylic and oil paints (180 mm (1:10)); Back to the Front.
