During World War II, the Germans developed smaller and larger armoured vehicles which, remotely controlled and equipped with explosive charges, were used to fight against particularly heavily fortified positions and in house-to-house combat. This illustrated book shows hundreds of photos of these "Sprengpanzer" and other German armoured vehicles.
