PLB625 AA Gun & Missile Integrated Weapon System

The PLB625 AA Gun & Missile Integrated Weapon System is a highly mobile land-based terminal air-defense system independently developed by China. It is primarily designed for field mobile air-defense operations and can also perform land-based key-point air-defense missions. The system is equipped with a six-barrel 25mm rotary autocannon and four Hongying-6B short-range air-defense missiles, providing powerful anti-air capabilities to effectively intercept aerial targets within a range of 1 to 6 kilometers.

Mounted on an 8×8 wheeled armored vehicle chassis, the PLB625 offers excellent cross-country mobility and protection, ensuring reliable mission performance in complex terrain. The system is outfitted with a target acquisition radar, fire-control radar, and a multi-channel electro-optical system, enabling rapid response and precise engagement against aerial threats.

In addition, the PLB625 can operate independently or in coordination with other air-defense systems, forming a multi-layered air-defense network to meet the diverse demands of modern battlefields. The system was first commissioned into the Xizang Military Command in early 2021 and made its debut as part of the parade on September 3, 2025, showcasing Chinas latest achievements in short-range air-defense capabilities.
