A revised facsimile of the original edition with a new preface and contents. Only 50 copies of the original book were privately published in 1898 by Eden Paget, grandson of Sir Edward Paget. Gareth Glover discovered a copy of this very rare book and passed it on to Stephen. It was obvious that it needed to be reorganised. Instead of three very long chapters, there are now 18, spread across which are the bibliographical notes written by Eden Paget. Paget served on Wellington's staff and lost his right arm at Oporto in 1809. When he returned to service in 1812, he was captured during the retreat from Burgos.
