The MAN TGX XXL was appreciated in the commercial and industrial vehicle market for its recognisable style and "character", which combined driving comfort, reliability and economy. The XXL cab offers maximum comfort and was designed as the optimum solution for international long-distance transport. The range of engines available has been developed with a view to minimising fuel consumption, reducing operating costs and extending service life. MAN took a further step forward with the introduction of the new D38 series - reliable 6-cylinder diesel engines with an output of up to 640 hp and maximum torque of 3,000 Nm to increase the tractor unit's performance in all working and operating conditions.
