The three Bogatyri of Russian legend: Ilya Muromets, Dobrynya Nikitich and Alyosha Popovich. From a painting by the Russian painter Viktor Mikhailovich Vaznetsov (1848-1926). Bogatyr is the name für knights from medieval Russian sagas, who are sung about in various heroic songs (bylines). The original meaning of the word was "hero" or "brave warrior" and denoted a free warrior from the 13th century onwards. These beautifully modelled figures will delight the collector's heart.
