The bibliographic dictionary of the Sardinian army brings together over 6,000 biographies of subjects of the Kingdom of Sardinia within the borders of 1815 (Piedmontese, Ligurians, Savoyards, Niçois, and Sardinians) who, in the first 21 years of the 19th century, i.e. during the Napoleonic Wars and the first Restoration until the constitutional uprisings of March 1821, were active soldiers (especially, but not exclusively, officers) in the Sardinian army and/or in other armies (French, Italian, Neapolitan, English, Austrian, and Russian).
