The MiniKit range is expanded with new mold variants. The Golf IV, the successor to the Golf III, was introduced for the 1998 model year. The original Golf IV featured an electrolytically galvanized body, for which Volkswagen offered a twelve-year anti-perforation rust warranty. The kits are available in white and red.
