SnapFit kit The ATR-72 played an important role in the modernisation of Polish LOT in the early 1990s. After the fall of communism in Poland, it began converting its fleet from Soviet-era aircraft to Western models. The ATR-72 was first introduced in August 1991, replacing the Antonov AN-24 turboprop aircraft that had been in service since the 1960's. The ATR aircraft were used on regional and international routes to neighbouring countries. SnapFit models from Herpa impress with an unbeatable price/performance ratio.
