Embraer introduced the new E2 family in 2016, and the new series was marketed as the "Profit Hunter". The first demonstration aircraft were sent on a promotional tour around the world to demonstrate their performance at air shows and to demonstrate the aircraft to potential customers. Given a range of a good 5,000 kilometers, it can no longer be called a regional jet. Three variants are currently available, the largest and currently most in demand being the E-195-E2. The core of Embraer's program are the new geared turbofans from Pratt & Whitney, which in the case of the E-195-E2 generate up to 102 kN of thrust, are significantly quieter than the previous E-1 model and require at least 25% less fuel. The example with the registration PR-ZIQ was given a new, spectacular special livery for its presentation at the Dubai Air Show 2023: the "TechEagle". Embraer has so far sold more than 300 aircraft of the new series.
