The Weathering Color Series (EWC) from Mr. Hobby is a high-quality selection of oil-based model paints specially developed for realistic weathering effects. It is ideal for creating panel lines, washes, rust marks, dust, dirt, and filter effects on all types of models from military vehicles to dioramas to sci-fi kits.
Each 40 ml bottle contains finely pigmented paint in a smooth oil base that offers excellent flow and controllability. The colors are easy to apply, blend, or partially remove, especially when applied over a glossy clear coat. This allows for highly realistic creation of natural weathering and depth effects.
The series is compatible with Mr. Color, Aqueous Hobby Color, and Acrysion, and can be used directly on plastic but cannot be mixed with water-based weathering products. For optimal results, we recommend using the special Weathering Color Thinner (WCT201), which perfectly thins the paint while protecting the model surface.
