This is a pearl colour that achieves a unique shine and colour brilliance that has never been seen before.
Pearl colours are not based on their own colour, but change their appearance depending on the substrate and the wavelength of the light passing through the pearl particles.
When applied to white or light-coloured surfaces, the colour creates a mother-of-pearl effect. It can appear as if there is no colour, but areas hit by the light will show the pearl colour. This is particularly effective for model cars and figures.
When applied to black or dark surfaces, the pearlescent effect comes out with a metallic tone. Pre-painting the surface in black allows for a striking metallic finish, making it ideal for model cars and mecha models.
The large pearl particles result in a matt finish. To achieve a more beautiful, jewel-like lustre, apply a clear gloss varnish as a "2-coat finish".
