Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst Paulus (* 23 September 1890 in Guxhagen; Ä 1 February 1957 in Dresden-Oberloschwitz) was a German Army officer (from 1943 Field Marshal General) and Commander-in-Chief of the 6th Army während the Battle of Stalingrad in World War II.
