Volume 7 of the Luftwaffe Gallery series. When cartoonists in the German Luftwaffe took up the theme of Against England, they were able to really let loose and pull out all the stops, which contrasted with the alleged frugality in equipping units and personally decorating Luftwaffe aircraft, as some claim. It is noteworthy that there were genuine artists in the ranks of each unit, but the expression of this artistry gradually disappeared as aircraft and personnel losses increased. While the air war between the RAF and the Luftwaffe initially appeared chivalrous, it quickly became merciless and even ugly as German Jabos attacked civilian infrastructure and vehicles to terrorise the British population. As the night-time battles mainly involved British crews fighting their German opponents over their homeland, the authors take this opportunity to present the continuation of the article published in the previous issue, which focused on daytime attacks. There is so much to say and reveal on this subject that it was necessary to choose the 96-page format previously reserved for special editions.
