Volume 17 of the series Les Cahiers de la Compagnie d'Elite. After the short-lived first restoration and the Hundred Days, during which they retained the appearance of the last years of the Empire except for a few details, the cuirassiers of the second restoration (the reign of Louis XVIII (1815-1824) and Charles X (1824-1830) in a completely new guise. And during the 15 years of the reign of Louis XVIII and Charles X, the cuirassiers' uniform did not undergo any profound changes. However, the changes that did occur allow us to divide this period into three phases: 1815-1817, 1818-1825 and 1826-1830. This is the subject of this richly illustrated work, which provides us with a very beautiful and previously unpublished study by Eugène Leliepvre.
