Republics F-84F Thunderstreak and RF-84F Thunderflash jets were the spearhead of Natos tactical air forces from the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s, deployed by eleven air forces, including nine European ones. This book looks at the development and global operational history of these swept-wing fighters, whose lineage started with the famed P-47 Thunderbolt, and largely distributed within the framework of the US MDAP. Also included are the various projects derived from the basic airframe.
