5 cm KWK L/60 The type M was sparsely built, vision slits and hatches were omitted. As a battle tank, the Panzer III was obsolete by 1940. For fire support, the N version was produced with a short 7.5 cm gun. This fully exhausted the capacity of the Panzer III.
