Volume 22 of the "IDF Armor Series". Featuring a large number of colour photographs, this volume presents the deployment and technical details of the Israeli tank Merkava Siman 1. The presentation begins with a series of operational photos on a good ten pages. The main part of the booklet consists of detailed photos of individual areas of the main battle tank: mine roller system ("Nochri"), rear door, fighting compartment, driver's area, NBC protection equipment and vehicle batteries, turret hatches and openings, openings, hatches and storage space in the hull area. The book concludes with two sections of photos of vehicle wrecks and the insignia and markings of the Merkava Siman 1.
