Since 1949, the British modelling company "Airfix" has produced hundreds of kits, many of which are decorated with the spectacular lid paintings of Roy Cross. This illustrated book shows a large selection of the pack paintings produced by Roy Cross for "Airfix" since the 1960s, which set the scene for the model inside the box with great drama and accuracy. In most cases the focus is on military aircraft, but civilian machines, motorbikes and cars as well as tanks and ships are also part of Roy Cross' repertoire.
