John Herbert Dillinger was a US gangster who specialised in bank robbery with his gang. The FBI put a $10,000 bounty on his head and made him the first person ever to be declared "Enemy of the State No. 1". Dillinger was shot dead by several FBI agents on 22 July 1934 as he was leaving a cinema after being betrayed by his acquaintance Anna Sage, the "Woman in Red".Wikipedia (EN)
