Alphonse Gabriel äAlô Capone (in English pronunciation k?'p??n,[1] Italian Alfonso Capone; * 17 January 1899 in Brooklyn, New York City; Ä 25 January 1947 in Palm Island, Florida) was a US mobster and one of America's most berüchtigt criminals in the 1920s and 1930s. Capone controlled the Chicago underworld as the boss of the Chicago Outfitô and did most of his business in illegal gambling, prostitution, racketeering and, during the Prohibition era, illegal alcohol trafficking.
