Documents the origin, course and consequences of the war between the Spanish kingdoms of Castile and Aragon in the years between 1356 and 1369. This war between Peter I of Castile and Peter IV of Aragon was particularly explosive because it also involved the kingdoms of England and France, which were enemies in the Hundred Years' War and were allies of one of the two Spanish empires. Famous personalities such as Bertrand de Guesclin or Edward the "Black Prince" now met on Spanish soil.
