Volume 113 from the series "Guerreros y Batallas" describes in words and pictures the dramatic struggle between England and Spain at the end of the 16th/beginning of the 17th century. The volume describes the background to the conflict between the two kingdoms, the undertakings of the English privateer Francis Drake against Cadiz and along the Portuguese coast, the famous battle with the Spanish Armada in 1588, the attempt at an English counterattack the following year (1589) and the war between England and Spain, which dragged on for more than ten years. It concludes with a look at the Treaty of London in 1604, which ended the conflict.
