In fact, the units wore a special headgear, namely a "bonnet a poil", i.e. a fur-covered chako and not a "real" fur cap. At least three regiments also wore an eyeshade, while others did not. In any case, the figures shown here can be used unchanged for the 2nd 9th and 16th Regiments, whereby the 16th Regiment is shown here. For others, the eyeshade would probably have to be removed. As far as the uniforms of the Duchy of Warsaw are concerned, there are unfortunately very few contemporary illustrations. The 16th Rgt. depicted here took part, among other things, in the Battle of Borodino in the IV Cavalry Corps alongside the Saxon Cuirassiers.
