One of the most important early British aircraft of the 20th century, the Avro 504 series was the most heavily produced aircraft to serve in a military capacity during the First World War, with the K variant becoming the standard training aircraft for the Royal Air Force.
Many would remain in service well into the 1930s, with the type enjoying an impressive 28 year service career.
