This is the first title in a series of books that Frédéric Lisch has dedicated to the components of the Maginot Line. This first work deals with the 75 mm casemates models 1929 and 1932, the Alpine artillery casemates, the 81 mm casemates and the counterscarp boxes. In plain language: everything that is concreted, houses artillery and is connected to a structure by an underground passage... In the not too distant future, tower blocks, infantry casemates, entrance blocks, underground barracks, ammunition magazines, observatories, etc. will also be treated in the same way.
