Volume 1: Contributions; Vol. 2: Catalogue. The two-volume catalogue was published on the occasion of the Lower Austrian Provincial Exhibition from May to October 1987 in Grafenegg Castle. It offers a multifaceted overview of the second half of the reign of the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph. The catalogue volume provides an overview of the exhibits on display and describes them in short articles. The text volume illustrates the historical, political, social, economic and cultural background of Emperor Franz Joseph's epoch.
