German history on the Luftwaffen-Einsatzhafen Zellhausen 1937-1945. It reconstructs how the Luftwaffen-Einsatzhafen Zellhausen was built in the late 1930s, with the war already planned, how it was used as a base for German bombers in the fight against France in 1940, and how it was used as a training centre for cargo gliders until fighters were stationed there for the air defence of the Reich in 1944. The story of Zellhausen is not only the story of an air base, but also the story of the rise and fall of the German Luftwaffe.
