Eisenhower, the author describes in detail the actions, operational thoughts, and characters of American generals in the Battle of the Bulge. The generals Omar Bradley, William Simpson, Troy Middleton, Alan Jones and Bruce Clark are also introduced. Operational achievements are clearly identified, as are possible omissions or errors of judgement.
