This book presents the leading knives and daggers used during World War One in the French Army. Either privately purchased or regulation issue, they were for the better and the worst part of our soldiers everyday. More than others, these weapons indicate the roughness of the fights in the trenches during this conflict. In 80 pages, this book lists about 140 models and their scabbards. It is illustrated with more than 250 color photos and period photos most of these unpublished until now of French soldiers with these knives and daggers. This book is a reissue of the 2014 English version that was long out of print with some new information and some photos.
