Warlord Gordrang Skullsplitter is deadcrushed by a rampaging mastodon. The Council of Elder Shamans must appoint a new warlord before the squabbling nature of the goblin clans tears the tribe apart. The shamans know this: no orc will tolerate another taking their place between the Pillars of Gromlak without first proving their worthiness. Prove yourselfwhether through cunning treachery or brute forceand lead the tribe to glory. "Pillars of Gromlak" is a campaign-based skirmish tabletop game in which players compete to become the new warlord of the orc tribe. A campaign consists of a series of trials where players face off against one another. The outcome of a trial can cause players to gain or lose "Infamy" (reputation); this affects their warband in future trials, as they may recruit followers or lose them. With simple stats and an interactive, dice-pool-based combat mechanic, "Pillars of Gromlak" offers everything a boss needs to rise through the ranks and be crowned the tribe's warlord.
