Issue 13 of "Navy Ops" contains reports and reports about the current operational tour of the carrier battle group around the USS "Dwight D. Eisenhower" (CVN-69) and its escort ships in the Middle East region, about the service of the Australian aircraft carrier HMS "Melbourne" from 1955 up to 1982 and about the current status of the construction program for the "Virginia" class hunting submarines.
The magazine also portrays the naval bomber Douglas A-3 "Skywarrior", which is the heaviest aircraft in the world and was regularly used from aircraft carriers. In the second part of the multi-part article series about the frigates of the "Oliver Hazard Perry" class, "Navy Ops" sheds light on the development of the US Navy standard frigate over the last few decades. The South Korean Navy's port visit to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg at the end of October 2023 is reported exclusively and there is a look at the different types of submarines of the mysterious North Korean Navy.
