Description
An account of the operations of C Squadron of the British Special Air Service (SAS) in East Africa from 1968 to 1980. This special unit fought in eastern Africa against various African nationalist and/or communist rebel organisations or groups, not infrequently supported by the USSR or China with arms, trainers and materiel. C Squadron employed sophisticated bush warfare tactics to combat the numerically superior enemy, inflicting a number of heavy blows and defeats on them during their years of service.
