"Half a league, half a league, Half a league onward, All in the valley of Death, Rode the six hundred." The Charge of the Light Brigade, immortalized in Tennyson's poem, is likely the only part of the Crimean War that has endured in the public consciousness. The war between Russia and an alliance comprising the Ottoman Empire, Great Britain, France, and Sardinia was fought primarily on the Crimean Peninsula. Hoping to prop up the ailing Ottoman Empire and save it from the expansionist Russian Tsar, the Allies sought to capture the Russian port of Sevastopol to prevent Russia from gaining control of the Black Sea. The campaign was characterized not only by the blunder of the Light Brigade but also by poor leadership and logisticsfactors that stood in stark contrast to the bravery and endurance of the men fighting there. This supplement to the award-winning game *Black Powder*, authored by Pete Brown, contains full details on the armies that fought in the Crimea, including information on their organization and uniforms, as well as special rules for each of the larger-than-life generals who led them. Furthermore, it features a complete account of the campaign, presenting all the battles and skirmishes as scenarios for your tabletopincluding the famous Charge of the Light Brigade at Balaklava. Will you honor the Light Brigade and save the noble Six Hundred?
