The Tank Modelling Guide series has so far focused on painting and weathering techniques for specific vehicles. This time, however, the focus is on explaining individual painting methods for different types of paint. Modellers and editors prefer different types of paint. Taking into account these different preferences, this issue focuses on painting techniques specific to each colour and aims to provide a "deeper understanding and enhancement" of the chosen colours, along with the introduction of appropriate weathering techniques. It is also an opportunity for those who are curious about other colours they have not used before to create a new challenge for themselves.
Examples: German three-colour camouflage (German Panzer 70/A, Tamiya, 1:35); NATO camouflage (Leopard 2A7, Meng, 1:35); Soviet dark green camouflage (Border Models, 1:35); Japanese aggressor camouflage (Type 74, Hobby Japan, 1:35); Croatian Army camouflage (T-34/85, MiniArt, 1:35); German tropical camouflage (Dragon, T-34/76); French Army camouflage (Tamiya, 1:35, R35); German Army camouflage (Panzerjäger Marder II, Tamiya, 1:35); British dark green (post-war) camouflage (Centurion Mk.II); U.S. Marine Corps green camouflage (M103A1, Takom, 1:35).
