Description
This guide for treasure hunters starts with the first steps that can lead to finding a treasure. Treasure hunters are taught how to use plans and maps, learn how to use available tools such as Google Earth, and are initiated into typical topographical clues to hidden treasure. The author also reveals tips for possible productive find spots. The tools needed for treasure hunting are given just as much space as all questions concerning the professional recovery of a found treasure. In a separate chapter, the author deals with legal questions. Especially when finding a treasure, there are some grey areas in this respect - a good basic knowledge is therefore the best insurance for the treasure hunter. In order to illustrate the theory, the author repeatedly chats out of the sewing box and explains the theory clearly with the help of examples he has experienced himself.
